Earlier this month, Governor Jack Markell nominated Tamika Montgomery-Reeves to succeed the Honorable Donald F. Parsons, who will be retiring at the end of this month as Vice Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery. Ms. Montgomery-Reeves is currently a partner at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, and previously worked for the firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Ms. Montgomery-Reeves also clerked for the William B. Chandler, III, former Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery, and also a partner with the Wilson Sonsini law firm. The Delaware Senate is scheduled to consider her nomination during a special session on Oct. 28, 2015.
